Bloomington Team
This is the Bloomington High School Team from Indiana, USA. Last year
they visited the WSR too. Because they enjoyed their stay last year, they
have returned for this year's event. |
Contestants and their families
Many contestants are accompanied by their families. The families too
seem to enjoy the event and support enthousiastically the contestants. This
way, children get familiar with the concept of clean 'solar' energy. |
Team's involvements
All team members are involved in the organization of the solar bike contestants.
Everybody has its own specific responsibility in order to accomplish the
best achievement for the team. |
Bloomington ready to rock & roll ?
This year's Bloomington contestants, Justin & Jessica, are warming
up for today's race. Last year, Justin finished 2nd in the High School Division
and 3rd in the General Division. Justin is motivated to improve his last
year's effort. For Jessica, this event is her debut. |

Pictures
People are taking pictures of each other. The public really seems to
be interested in the different types and shapes of the solar driven vehicles,
and are trying to discover some novelties. |
