Since 1989, we have been designing, building, and racing human
powered,solar powered, and electric hybrid bicycles. Three years
ago we started competing in the Solar Bike Rayce, USA in class
B. In 1999, we won first place in the S class category with
a vehicle named Voodoo, which qualified us for the World Solar
Bike Race in Japan. Eleven of our thirty-five team members were
able to make the trip. We are very honored to be here as representatives
of the United States. Our travels so far have been enjoyable.
We are very impressed with the organization of the race and
with the spirit of the Japanese people. The friends we have
made here have taught us a lot and we hope to see them again
next year.
