My name is John McClement and I am a third year technician
on the Bloomington High School South Solar Bike Team. This is
the teams third year going to the World Race in Japan but my
first. Our team has always enjoyed the friendliness in Japan
and we enjoy coming every year. There are some wonderful solar
bike and car designs here that are built by wonderful minds.
The extra competition in Japan is always something to look forward
to and every year the competition gets harder. The race track
here itself is something to enjoy because it was built specifically
for races like this one. The world race is also more organized
than any other race. All of our team members love it here in
Japan as we become one with the sun.
